Biography

My research focuses on neighborhood change and displacement, racialized geographies, and community policing. I’m interested in how neighborhood leaders navigate pressures from property developers, residents, and local government to make community decisions on policing and neighborhood change. My MA thesis uses quantitative and spatial methods to analyze how the rate and type of 911 calls change as neighborhood composition changes.
